Our partnership with SOS Children's Villages India
In 2024, Avis India partnered with SOS Children's Villages India (SOS India) and has continued to support the organisation since. Through this association, we contribute to the education, development, and overall well-being of children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it, helping them access the opportunities and support they need to build stable, independent futures.
About SOS India
Established in 1964, SOS India has spent six decades working to break the cycle of child neglect and abandonment. Today the organisation reaches more than 35,000 children and their families through 32 SOS Children's Villages and a range of community-based initiatives, including Family Strengthening Programmes, kindergartens, schools, vocational training centres, and a nursing school across 22 states in India.
Where our support goes
Our contribution focuses on three areas: access to quality school education, opportunities for higher education, and vocational pathways that lead to sustainable livelihoods. Together, these help young people move from care toward independence.
