Greener Mohammadpur: A Fresh Step Toward a Sustainable Tomorrow

The Greener Mohammadpur initiative—a collaborative effort by Avis India, Tapas Foundation, and i2u Social Foundation aimed at restoring and revitalizing an underutilized urban space. We planted over 3,000 trees, creating a thriving green canopy that will enhance air quality, reduce urban heat, and support local biodiversity.

This project went beyond planting trees, it created a livelihood, welcomed community space with shaded walkways, open areas, and cozy spots where people of all ages can gather, relax, and connect with nature. We aim to create meaningful, sustained employment opportunities for local families, fostering pride and long-term stewardship.

Greener Mohammadpur is a shared journey built on care, commitment, and hope. What begins today as a tree planting effort will grow into a lasting symbol of how small, collective actions can bring life, joy, and sustainability to our community for many years ahead.
