The company started its operations with 9 cities and 9 offices and now have a network of 50 rental stations in 19 cities, the company stated in its release.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Avis India has launched various services across multiple formats \u2013 including chauffeur drive, operating lease, self-drive and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/auto.economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tag\/fleet+management\">fleet management<\/a>\u00a0services \u2013 to fulfil the requirements of both corporate and retail customers across India.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The company launched its unique mobile app in 2016 which it claims is the only app in the world that provides mobility options for both self-drive and chauffeur drive in India and abroad. Its functionality was further extended to car delivery and collection in 2017.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The company added that its acquisition of the chauffeur drive and airport transfers business for Emirates in 2018 was another major milestone for the brand. Its years of expertise in fleet management has also transformed into a new offering \u2013 CARe, a subscription-based fleet management service.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Sunil Gupta, MD &amp; CEO, Avis India said, \u201cThe last 20 years have helped us strengthen the pillars of our success: innovation, seizing new opportunities, financial strength, and engaged teams.
